Photos below show what TV picture looked like after second warranty service visit. Service company removed main board installed last time, and reinstalled old board originally removed from this set. New EPROM was installed, and this time technician had the proper service tool to access and exit factory service mode. Service technician then eye-balled a geometry alignment using a B&K pocket dot-bar generator.
Photos below show very noticeable and annoying pincushion distortion. Also note how right side of 4:3 screens show an "S" type distortion, with top right corner folding in like barrel distortion while bottom right corner bows out like pincusion distortion. After spending $700, putting up with 4 months of problems, and 2 in-home factory-authorized warranty service sessions, this is what I get to enjoy watching!
